Moetan, that super fun to make fun of Engrish book series is finally an anime! But does it still have charm and potential for mockery of the original?
A lot of the new anime this season don’t really seem to interest me, and the ones that do aren’t subbed yet, so I’ll probably wait on them. Potemayo was one of the anime I really wanted to see, and luckily for me, it’s pretty easy to understand raw, so here’s my first impressions on this very weird anime.
So I saw on RC that there’s a special 7/7/7 promo on the haruhi.tv website. Curious myself, I got it, and I figured I’d post it up here in case people were having a hard time finding it.

For the past few months, I’ve been wondering when the heck they’re going to release the single for the Lovely Complex anime OP. Sure, the ED has been out for about a month and a half, but why doesn’t the OP get some love? Then I realized the OP was also on the ED single. Oops.
So I figured I’d transcribe and translate the song, since I really like it. Hey, it’s Japanese ska! This one was kind of easy, since the Japanese lyrics are actually included in the OP on the bottom of the screen. I only had to figure out a few of the lyrics in the extended version.
As usual, my translations might be a loose or wrong, or both, so take these with a grain of salt. If you have any suggestions or comments, please let leave a comment below. Anyway, here we go!

The race to Graceland (not the Elvis one) continues in Coyote Ragtime Show Volume 2! I’m actually really hoping that the twist at the end deals with Bruce being the reincarnation of Elvis Presley, and the treasure being brand new singles from the King himself!
