NHK Volume 3 ramps up the non-stop hikikomori action by having Satou play MMORPGS! And by action, I mean virtual action.
Samurai Commando: MISSION 1549 is easily the cheesiest name for a manga I’ve ever heard. The name also made it pretty much impossible for me not to read it.
In Le Chevalier Volume 2, D’Eon upgrades from merely being possessed by his sister to dressing up as his sister, and being possessed by her. Pervert…
Ah, Galaxy Angel. That one really long series that I’ve been taking literally forever to finish. Just one more beta volume after this, and I’ll be done! What’s that? There’s a Galaxy Angel II? Uguu~~
After doing some detective work, I found out that the title of the manga “Puri Puri” is short for “Premature Priest.” Oh man, this ought to be good.
So the Alien Nine manga trilogy ends. With a !?!?!? ending! Questions are answered, but the answers just raise more questions! Oh well, at least there’s a sequel, too.
I finally got the Emo Manga, To Terra, that I’ve been meaning to get for the past few months or so. I even deliberately avoided watching the anime so I could have a pure emo experience! So was it worth it?
I think Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is kind of like the Japanese antithesis of “Welcome Back Mr. Kotter.” But I could just be making that up, since I’ve never actually seen an episode of WBMK in my entire life.
So the Disgaea anime and I have been on complicated terms with each other. Volume 1 was passable. Volume 2 was pretty bad. So can we finally patch things up with volume 3? Or is this the end of my Disgaea fanboyism!?
