So I’ve pretty much been watching Lovely Complex and Lucky Star as far as this anime season goes. I just finished watching Lovely Complex 5, and I have to admit, I didn’t see that coming. Seriously, uber cute girl being a trap? Anyway, I guess that means that the amazon is safe to dilly dally around for a few more episodes. She must be channeling Hamlet, waiting until it’s too late to kill her uncle king. Or in this case, date the short guy.
Actually, this anime is going by super fast. Like wasn’t there a Christmas episode two episodes ago? The next one is a beach episode! WTF? I haven’t seen time go by this fast in an anime since Itsudatte My Santa, which had a Christmas and then Beach episode back to back!
Also, I’ve actually been noticing the Kansai dialect in this show, mostly with the “chau” instead of “chigau.” And some other stuff. According to Wikipedia, “ahou” is actually in Kansai-ben, but I’ve heard it in all sorts of anime.
Oh, and something tells me “Gyooo! Bupe pubupere bupepre pe zo!” is not really Kansai-ben at all.
