So the Disgaea anime and I have been on complicated terms with each other. Volume 1 was passable. Volume 2 was pretty bad. So can we finally patch things up with volume 3? Or is this the end of my Disgaea fanboyism!?

The race to Graceland (not the Elvis one) continues in Coyote Ragtime Show Volume 2! I’m actually really hoping that the twist at the end deals with Bruce being the reincarnation of Elvis Presley, and the treasure being brand new singles from the King himself!
So I was supposed to watch Black Jack: Incubation before watching Black Jack: Trauma, but because of Central Park Media’s wacky naming conventions on their Black Jack DVDs (not using volume numbers), I ended up seeing this one first. I don’t think it matters that much anyway, since the episodes tend to be stand-alone stories.

009-1 is that one cyborg spy anime from the Fall of 2006 that really didn’t get much recognition. It probably had something to do with the fact that it quickly got licensed by ADV (and stopped getting fansubbed).
