So DiGiKerot over at Beta Waffle beat me to the Full Metal Panic Light Novel announcement. What he didn’t mention is that Tokyopop is also going to release the Welcome to the NHK light novel! I really like Welcome to the NHK (both the anime and the manga), and like I said before, light novels are gonna be the next big thing. So I’m really looking forward to this.
Also, why the heck isn’t the Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu light novel series licensed yet!? It’d be like a license to print money!

If you believe DarkMirage, the light novel of Haruhi is rather bad. And in fact, I didn’t really like the novels either and dropped them after the middle of volume 1 *cough*
i watched most of the anime before it was banned o youtube, i really liked it so if this is up to the same standard then i wanna read!!!
I hadn’t bothered mentioning NHK because I could have sworn I’d heard about it previously. Well, that and I didn’t really consider it particularly interesting ^^;
You lucky Americans!
I hope all these light novels coming out in USA will get some in France too

Whoa, that was fast! I wonder if Amazon knows of any other releases that haven’t been announced yet…
Hmmm, now THIS is going to be intersting. Good price, too.
Sweet, I need to order this.
Amazon quite frequently gets wind of Tokyopop releases before they actually announce them ^^;
I got hooked on anime, so I’m probably going to get this novel as well.
I’m in the midst of reading the novel right now, and I have to say that it’s not nearly as comical as the manga or the anime. If you ignore the lack of comedy in comparison with its other formats, it’s really quite good.
