Speaking of the Kanon Remake…

Kanon Popularity.jpg

It’s totally beating every other Fall 2006 anime into the ground! The anime series popularity tag cloud thing that I implemented on Anime Nano shows how many times a series has been written about in the past 2 weeks. Kanon has already been mentioned 66 (make that 67) times! That’s almost 5 posts a day!

I’m guessing this anime is gonna be waaaay popular. Maybe even more popular than The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi… I for one welcome our uber-moe overlords. Uguu~

All hail Ayu! And while we’re at it, let’s all pray to Haruhi for the SayuriXMai love scene that everyone seems to be expecting for some odd reason. Not sure whether Kanon will surpass The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi in popularity but it’s definitely looking to be the most blogged series this fall. *tosses his own blog into the pile*

Oh, on that note, thanks for accepting AniAri into Anime Nano, much appreciated XD

I was just going to write how the original Kanon sucked. I guess that would feed into the “popularity”.

I was almost going to make a post like this about an hour before the next ep airs, but decided it was slightly too retarded:

Title: I wonder how many times putting Kanon 02
Body: in the title of a post an hour before it airs will multiply my normal hit count.

Of course it would show up in the post slug, but who reads those besides me anyway.

But it’s not popular because everyone loves it! There are quite a number of unsatisfied post on Kanon.

Anyone who claims to not like Kanon is just being tsundere. It’s a fact.

Hah, count how many english nonenglish subbers there are for deathnote and you will realize whats most popular. And by the way, DeathNote almost didn’t get any negative resoponses, unlike kanon who has gotten so/so.

I think Hung’s onto something there.

I don’t really like Kanon that much, but I still watch it since so many people rave about it. I’m hoping to figure out by the end of the series why that is, which could possibly change my stance on the anime.

MoGx, when I get around to it, I’ll have a negative post about DeathNote, I’m sure. Already watched it, and only found it meh. Wasn’t worth the hype I felt, unlike Kanon.

    Uguu~
