Okay, so being a huge Nippon Ichi fanboy, the Disgaea anime is something of a holy grail for me. The slightest news about the Disgaea anime is enough to send me into a giddy mood. So imagine my surprise when I read on Heisei Democracy that there was a new promo out today!
The Disgaea anime is slated for an April release, so I only have about two more months of languishing until it comes out! I guess I could always pass the time by playing the game. I think I logged like, 40+ hours two Summers ago…
Its too bad the series will only run for 12 episodes. Unless there isn’t much story to it, then I guess thats ok,
Given the track record of video-game based anime, I wouldn’t get my hopes up…

its going to rock and it doesnt have to follow the game all the way through they could add things such as mini side storys that you didnt see in the game making the series run 10X longer than just 12 episodes
I saw the whole video on G4 Tech TV’s Cinimatcech. It was mad funny and cute. But the English voice actor for the hot looking deval guy that fights that evil kid really sucks. They should’ve had another vioce actor play as him instead.
