Does it ever bother you when you see an “email me” link in the form of a mailto: that opens Microsoft Outlook when you really want to use Gmail to send the message? You actually can with Mozilla Firefox and a GreaseMonkey script. First, get the lastest version of Firefox (The latest version of Greasemonkey only works with 1.5).
After you have Firefox 1.5, install GreaseMonkey, an extension for Firefox.
Lastly, get this script to change the mailto: links into Gmail hotlinks. Now I can finally click on those email buttons and not be afraid of Outlook popping up!
