Being a sentimental old fool, I did. While the initial viewing gave the impression of disjointedness, the second look was a bit clearer. There is a "14th" episode out as of this message (1-26-11). It could be Kanade did live a lot longer, & her desire to thank Otanashi brought her there anyway. Time may not be reckoned in the hereafter as here. Was it that good? I wasn't moved when Yui-nyan "moved on." It felt rushed; therefore there are some deficiencies that this show needs to fill up. (Considering that this is but a part of a media franchise - manga prequels, insert singles and whatnot - I suspect that the backstories of most of the characters <em>may be</em> included in any of the mediums I mentioned just now. Just to draw you further into the rabbit hole that is Angel Beats!) I'm rating this along with Air as two shows I've cried over.
