I’ve written about the Mikan box thing before on this blog, and after seeing DiGiKerot’s own “Mikan Watch” segment on his blog, I figured I’d so something similar (AKA rip him off). My first mikan sighting comes from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
This particular mikan sighting happens at 15:03 of episode six, which I just watched. Yeah, I’m just a little bit behind on my anime watching… Also worth noting is the compulsory abandoned kitty inside the mikan box. It kinda reminds me of Shii’s song!
MW is the latest of Osamu Tezuka’s manga to be translated and released here in the US by Vertical Inc. And apparently (by reading the katakana on the book) it’s pronounced “MOOO!” Like a cow!
Venus Versus Virus ranks up there in the list of epic battles along with Pirates versus Ninjas and Man versus Machine. Though nothing can really beat Pirates versus Ninjas (Ninjas win!)…
