I saw the first episode of the anime version of Eternal Alice Rondo back in January of last year, but I never watched past the first episode. I’ve had the manga version lying around and I figured I should give the series another shot.

To be honest, I don’t have much experience watching Highlander stuff. I think I may have seen part of a movie, and maybe an episode of the TV show. The OP totally rocked! Anyway, I just got this anime version in the mail so I figured I’d pop it in my DVD player and check it out.

Remember that anime, 009-1, that came out in the Fall and went largely ignored? Me either! Apparently ADV licensed it! And they just put a site up for it! I had no idea until Natalie Lane shot me an email about it.
I pretty much gave the anime no attention last Fall, but I checked out the trailers on the site, and it actually looks okay. And by that, I mean it has panty shots and voluptuous cyborgs. The jury is still out on the character design, though. I guess I’ll have to , y’know, watch the anime to make an informed descision…
The second volume of Alien Nine manga definitely takes the action and kicks it up a few notches! But don’t worry, there’s also enough emo crying to please fans of that genre, too!
The psychological warfare continues in Death Note Volume 4 with an added bonus: Misa Misa! That’s right, the manga finally has a cute character. Besides Ryuk, of course.
