		<description>my band director got this volume from our sister city in japan so it&#039;s in japanese, looking through the book all i got from it was that the cry a lot, make music, bring food to eachother, cry and oh yeah, they cry. it was crazy trying to understand what was going on but i get it now. Yay! i better tell cathy...</description>

		<description>At long last, I managed to finally track down volume 8 of the translated version, just as volume 9 (theoretically) was released.  I&#039;ll not give away any secrets -- but will say that vol. 8 is one of the best so far. Both Nodame and Chiaki have major accomplishments.  ;~}

I really have found this series fascinating -- ever since getting the unsubbed first volume -- ages and ages ago.  It took quite a while to work my way through this, dictionaries by my side.   (Because of the multilingual nature of this manga, the published translations are a bit problematic -- but they try to make up for any loss of information through their translation notes).</description>
