Originally I thought Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou was going to be a slice of life demon high school from the title. It’s more of an action title than anything. It features a lot of fighting, gore, and zombies. What about plot, you say? Not so much…

I thought the title looked interesting, so decided to take a shot at reading it. I’m really disappointed that this manga hasn’t gotten more recognition!

That’s right, according to ANN, everyone’s favorite hikikomori-trainer Highlander-style doll fight anime has been licensed! With the license of this anime plus Pani Poni Dash and Nerima Daikon Brothers, it seems like no anime is out of the question for licensing. If an anime about a guy who plays with dolls can make it to the states, maybe Sexy Commando Gaiden Sugoi Masaru-san can too!

I finally got a chance to check out the raw version of the anime. So how does the alliterative Venus Versus Virus stand up to the other Winter 2007 anime so far?
