Kaimono Log – Lots of Manga + J-Pop CD

First off, thanks to all who commented on my "Adventures in Manga Importing" post. It’s nice to know that wherever I’m ordering stuff from, I won’t get bamboozled. Last night I finally made an order for some manga and a CD that I’ve wanted for more than a year! Here’s the complete shopping list:

First off, thanks to all who commented on my "Adventures in Manga Importing" post. It’s nice to know that wherever I’m ordering stuff from, I won’t get bamboozled. Last night I finally made an order for some manga and a CD that I’ve wanted for more than a year! Here’s the complete shopping list:

ROUND TABLE Feat. Nino – APRIL (Korean Special Version)

ROUND TABLE Feat. Nino - APRIL

I’ve wanted April probably since the moment it came out: April 2003! There’s a good reason for me holding out! The CD still costs about 3000 yen. This means that after shipping it would probably amount to more than $30 US. For a CD! Anyway, I found the Korean "Special Edition" at yesasia for $10.99. Hopefully Round Table (and Nino) will still get a good cut of this. Hopefully I’ll get the CD by April!

Hayate Cross Blade

Hayate Cross Blade

Hayate Cross Blade showed up on anidb as a new series. I thought it looked really cool, so imagine my disappointment when I found out it was only a commercial for the manga that was airing. Apparently this manga involves girls with swords and yuri, so how could I say no?

Kamichu! Manga

Kamichu! Manga

I’ve only seen like, 2 episodes of the Kamichu! anime so far, but I already dig the art style a lot. I think that the Kamichu anime won some kind of art award this year. Hopefully the Kamichu! manga will look just as awesome.

Keroro Gunso Vol. 1 + Vol. 2

Keroro Gunso Vol 1.

Keroro Gunso Vol 2

I was originally going to buy the domestic version of Keroro Gunso but I decided I’d get the import version instead. Why? The domestic manga costs $10, and the import one costs $7.25. I’ll probably be able to read it just fine, so why pay more and lose stuff in the translation? Plus it’ll make me look like an even bigger nerd!

Combined, all of this stuff cost me $40.47 at yesasia. The reason I picked yesasia was because of their free shipping on $40+ orders. The estimated delivery time is somewhere around March 10th, but hopefully my stuff will get here sooner. When it does, expect some reviews and whatnot!
